Was looking around for a Vietnamese restaurant near the area and found this one. There's so many Chinese restaurants in NYC alone, it's hard to find a good Vietnamese place. It's not like the Bay Area. Anyway, I tried the tofu and vegetables over vermicelli and it was tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was hot when it arrived. The veggies weren't overcooked. I was happy they considered my diet. Normally, the vermicelli dishes come with meat. I was able to add tofu to it. I will come back to the and try other dishes.

I am stuffed to the brim from all the food I have eaten thus far. Every single dish is delicious, and you know what, it's a real bargain too! (Approx. $130 including 18% tips) Some of the food we had: Fried Fish Imperial Rolls Lemongrass Shrimp Grilled meat that one wrap in lettuce and noodles Tamarind soup with shrimp and shaved lotus roots that is to die for. So delicious! (no picture) Ong Choy (watercress) that is absolutely crunchy and yummy. (See greens in first picture.) And of course, can't forget a big bowl of Pho (beef noodle soup). (See bowl of soup in first picture.)

I don't eat in Chinatown very often & when I do, it's normally at a Chinese restaurant, but I've passed Nam Son so many times while shopping around Grand Street that I decided to finally give it a go.
